The images below were painted on canvas which was first glued to a ceramic "plate" which forms the frame for the painting. Dennis made the plates, which Leslie stained with oxides and fired. Should the plate ever be broken, the canvas and painting should remain intact to be mounted and reframed in a conventional manner. |
